Shaping the Future of Professional Scuba Diving
Dom's absolute passion is teaching diving. As a PADI Course Director, he created IDC DIVE to help train the next generation of scuba diving professionals.
My job was to build the brand from the ground up — from the logo and visual identity to the website, photography and promotional campaign.
The logo is bold and typographic, while the octopus mascot adds a more playful and personal side to the identity. And the choice was pretty obvious: if you've ever seen Dom diving, with his dreadlocks floating around his head, you'll understand.
I created the brand guidelines, typography, patterns and graphic elements needed to keep the identity consistent across digital and print, then carried the whole visual language into the website and marketing materials.

IDC DIVE isn't just about getting certified. It's about giving people the skills and confidence to turn diving into a profession.
The website was designed with younger divers in mind, particularly people taking a gap year or looking for a new direction. That meant putting mobile first, keeping things fast and straightforward, and giving the site plenty of personality without making it complicated.
Real photography, informal captions, bold graphics and a healthy dose of humour make the experience feel personal rather than corporate. Course information, dive theory and practical details are kept clear and easy to find, with flexible payment options and straightforward calls to action.
The result is a website that feels much more like Dom and his team than a typical dive-training website

Dive into something new
IDC DIVE wanted to reach beyond the usual diving audience and introduce the idea of professional diving to people taking gap years, adventure breaks and sabbaticals.
I created a promotional campaign spanning social media and print, designed to be used in dive shops and swimming pools around London.
The campaign positioned IDC DIVE not simply as somewhere to get another diving qualification, but as an opportunity to take some time out, learn something new and potentially turn a passion for diving into a career.

Elvira has been brilliant at taking my ideas and turning them into something that actually works in digital reality. Her quality of work is excellent. She is incredibly easy to work with and responds quickly whenever updates or changes are needed. Elvira is personable, patient and practical, but she also brings genuine creativity and innovative thinking to a project rather than simply doing exactly what she’s asked.
