Where Elegance Meets Comfort
Red C Villas is a stylish desert retreat where architecture, nature and hospitality come together.
Dom and Steve approached me to create a new visual identity and website that captured the feeling of staying at Red C, while making it easy for guests to explore the villas, discover the amenities and book their stay.
I worked across the project wearing quite a few hats, from branding and web development to art direction and photography. That's how I like to work: understanding the bigger picture, but also being able to jump into whatever the project needs to make it happen.
Letting the place speak
Red C already had something special going for it: the place itself. I built the identity around that, using organic shapes, earthy colours and an editorial mix of typefaces, with just a touch of luxury.
The same idea carries through the website. Clean layouts, generous space and strong photography let the villas and surroundings do most of the talking, while the structure keeps everything easy to find, from the story and villas to facilities, services and booking.
The experience is designed to feel effortless, with the Book Now button always within reach and guest testimonials placed throughout the journey to build trust.
The result is a website that balances atmosphere with usability — giving Red C room to shine while keeping the path to booking clear.Crafting the Visual Identity
Red C already had a strong photography library by the talented Graeme Fordham, but the property had evolved since those images were taken.
More vegetation had transformed the surroundings into a lush desert oasis, while new features such as the refurbished pool and sauna needed to be captured.
I directed a new series of photographs to sit alongside the existing library, making sure the new images felt like part of the same visual world rather than a replacement for what was already there.
A truly fantastic website. I am very pleased with the look and the results. The photos are excellent, the design is great, it truly captures our essence, and feels like the Villas.
